Why We Exist
The Basenji Fanciers of Greater Phoenix was formed and incorporated in 1973 and is recognized by the American Kennel Club and the Basenji Club of America.
We are the only Basenji club in the state of Arizona. We have annually host a local Basenji Specialty. In 1999 we were the host club to our National Basenji Specialty held in Scottsdale.
We have participated in many educational events through the years and continue to offer breed and health information about the Basenji.
In recent years we have held lure coursing events, obedience instruction and general fun events to show the versatility of the breed.
